Boo-Seleka under Moroka II, Boo-Ratlou under Gontse, Boo-Tshidi under Tawana and few of Barolong ba ga Sehuba

In December 1833, Motlhaa-wa-pitse was all bustle, with excitement and noise. The People were packing their goods, and were leaving for Thaba Nchu. About 15,000 people, traveled in a compact body, some in wagons, some on horseback, some riding oxen, and a great number on foot.
The members of each Barolong clan continued being attached to their respective Chiefs even in their new town- Boo-Seleka under Moroka II, Boo-Ratlou under Gontse, Boo-Tshidi under Tawana and few of Barolong ba ga Sehuba
On arrival, circular huts were formed into wards, and concentrically aligned around kgotla. With some irony, Rev James Cameron called their new town “‘very imposing’” seven years later..."A vast assemblage of houses teeming with inhabitants, but widely different from a European town... No towers, and no public buildings..." Dr Andrew Smith observed- “The houses are irregularly disposed, though more or less encircling...”
